Big Red Barn 2012
The Big Red Barn 2012 showcased our candidates well. Even though we expected a higher attendance, all who attended had a good afternoon of BBQ salmon, sunshine and visiting with friends. We have quality candidates who will serve us well. Non partisan candidates were represented also. We all must continue to work diligently to get them elected.Get out the vote!

San Juan County Fair Republican Booth Shooting Gallery a Blast!
A great time was had by all at the fair. Our Shooting Gallery and Candidate Booth was a success again thanks to Rene Polda, Gordy Petersen, Frank Penwell and many other volunteers. Many folks remembered us from last year so they came to visit again. If they hit a target with a Nerf gun participants were allowed to answer questions of various difficulty about history, government and the constitution. Prizes were awarded according to difficulty level. We had many fun discussions about the answers. If they did not get an answer correct they were encouraged to return in an hour to try again. We had kids lined up most of the day. Candidates Dan Matthews and John Swapp spent time meeting folks and gathering votes at our candidate table. We all had a blast. Come to the Red Barn Event August 25th where the Shooting Gallery will be set up again.
Thank you to all who volunteered their time, sweat, trucks etc.
