After the House Republicans offered the Senate a chance to vote for a delay in AHA individual mandate with the CR (which funds government),Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid(D) and Senate Dems refused so the government shut down. After that stand off, the Senate Dems are suggesting the AHA individual mandate be delayed as if it were their idea. Now you are being told left and right AHA is not ready. Especially it is not ready to fine the people who don’t carry a health insurance policy January 1st. So who caused the shut down? Please. If both parties worked together better for the good of our country the shut down would not have happened and AHA would not exist. There is a better way to improve healthcare for all instead of the government mandates AHA demands. The funding for AHA is a nightmare. As we who have insurance receive our notices that our plans are no longer available, Obama expects us to sign up for AHA policies.Yes a single payer system as was intended all along. Many who voted for Obama because they wanted improved healthcare were baited and switched.Smoke and mirrors.Well, it is Halloween week.Creepy.

ObamaCare 2016: Happy Yet?

The website problems were finally solved. But the doctor shortage is a nightmare……

Bradley Allen  Oct. 22, 2013

Three years after the disastrous launch of the Affordable Care Act, most of the website troubles finally have been ironed out. People are now able to log on to the government’s ACA website and to most of the state health-insurance exchanges. The public has grudgingly come to accept higher insurance premiums, new taxes and increases in part-time workers who were formerly full-time. But Americans are irate anyway—because now they’re seeing the health-care law’s destructive effect on the fundamental nature of the way their care is delivered.

Even before the ACA’s launch in 2013, many physicians—seeing the changes in their profession that lay ahead—had begun talking their children out of going to medical school. After the launch, compensation fell, while nothing in the ACA stopped lawsuits and malpractice premiums from rising. Doctors must now see many more patients each day to meet expenses, all while dealing with the mountains of paperwork mandated by the health-care law. Continued

The Government is Open but is it Working?

What a disappointment that our leaders did not curb spending, raised the Debt Limit, funded a disastrous Obamacare and gave Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell(R) his 2.9 billion dollar dam.Don’t forget this. Our country’s economy and healthcare will suffer but Kentucky has a new dam.Dam.

Remember those republicans that did not stand up and bargain well. Ted Cruz and Rand Paul’s brave attempt to take on the establishment should stick in your memory as you are changing your health insurance and doctor preference.Or maybe you’ll think of McConnell’s dam while you are limiting your employees to 29 hours.Dam.

It sickens me that we went through this and ended up in a worse condition than we started. Our nation needs new leaders. Don’t think the Dems are pleased either. They won’t like the Obamacare disaster or bad economy when it crashes. Just think about it and welcome the Dems to talk about how to curb spending, limit government and protect our healthcare post Obamacare. For now sit back and watch the entitlement mentality soak up their victory.Ugh. Maybe at least the bottom of the trough is close.Dam.
