Larsen, Leftists Pass Communist-Style Takeover HealthCare Bill

Published by Cindy under Uncategorized

Our local Representative Rick Larsen and 218 other leftists voted to pass Nancy Pelosi’s un-Constitutional Health Takeover Bill at 11:30 pm ET on Saturday night. This bill mandates that people have health care that is approved by a “new ‘health choices commissioner’ who will decide what counts as ‘essential benefits,’ which all insurers will have to offer as first-dollar coverage.”

There are approximately 12 million people in the US today who CHOOSE to not have health care insurance. Many of them do an alternative form of coverage such as Medi-share, where people pool together and pay the doctor’s bills of the people who are in the pool every month. But, if these people continue to use this method, a tax equal to 2.5% of their adjusted gross income would be imposed on them. That would be a fine of $1250 on someone whose gross pay is $50,000/year. Jail time could also accompany this penalty.

Forcing the people of the United States to do something that is not mandated by the Constitution is specifically prohibited by the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution. All Senators and Representatives swore an oath to support our Constitution. Therefore, our Representative Larsen and all other representatives who voted for this bill are guilty of tyranny and should be recalled from office for a violation of their oath of office. Our Washington State Constitution provides for recalls in such instances and requires a petition for a special election for his removal.

I pledge to seek a committee for this action. Let me know if you are interested in helping with this recall. In the meantime, keep calling our senators and let them know we will not stand for this type of unConstitutional meddling in our lives.

Republicans Winning Across the Country

Published by Cindy under Uncategorized

Republicans seem to be winning in nearly every seat on the east coast. The main reason for the Republicans’ winning streak is people wanting a “change” from the Democrats’ corruption that is causing severe economic problems in their states.

Not so in Washington State. Big government programs won nearly across the board Election night in Washington State. Levy lifts are passing, new taxing districts are passing handily, the initiative to hold the line on government is failing, and throwing benefits to nearly everyone by way of Referendum 71 was the message of the night in Washington state. Apparently we are not as far along on the corruption and economic upheaval as those state on the East Coast, so we still feel comfortable throwing money around. Evidently it will take more than Boeing leaving to get people to wake up to the direction our state is headed.

Next year we will have a chance to vote Rick Larsen and Patty Murray out of their Congressional seats. They have thrown money that our nation does not have to bail out insurance fiascos, unions at GM, and stimulus’ money that has not reduced the un-employment level. They are working hard at passing a health care bill that will take away your right to choose your own insurance (remember Social Security? That was voluntary….for a while. And it was passed as such…then became mandatory for more and more industries, until you need your SS card for every job.).

I have heard of the shortages in countries with socialized medicine. They do without anesthesia. That is right. Anesthesia is considered an extravagance that is unnecessary, so you get your fillings taken care of without having your mouth numbed up. And women get to have natural childbirth….which is not so bad until you need a C-section. One woman needed an emergency C-section, and she was not prepped, so they just started cutting, telling her she wouldn’t feel it because of the hormones. Well, after the screaming and then passing out, she did no longer feel it. Don’t believe me? Our State Committee Woman can verify that for you. Send me an email and I will forward it to her.

We obviously need to continue to patiently educate more people. When their pain is great enough, they will listen.
