Republican Caucus Saturday, February 13th
The Republicans will be holding their bi-annual caucus, to stay in touch with the people of this country, state and county to see what the people would like the Republican party to stand for. Every other year, Republicans and Democrats previously have gathered to set down their “platforms” or statements of what their party stands for. They also elect representatives to take their concerns to the next level, the county convention. The whole process is repeated at the county convention sending concerns, platforms, and representatives on to the state convention, where everything is again repeated to send to the national convention.
However, this year, the Democrats are not having a caucus in Washington State.
The Republicans feel a caucus is a very important part of what the party stands for and will continue to hold caucuses. The caucuses this year will be held in the following locations in San Juan County on Saturday, February 13th at 10:00 am.
