Calling all delegates to County Convention Saturday March 24th at the San Juan Island Grange 152 First Street in Friday Harbor. We will begin at 8:30 AM. Delegates to State Convention will be elected and platform will be discussed and adopted. Dan Matthews candidate for US Congress will speak and we will all enjoy lunch before departing.Contact Chair Michelle Loftus or your PCO if you have questions.

Contribute to Rob McKenna’s Campaign for Governor

There are just hours left for you to make an immediate online contribution to support Team McKenna.  At midnight tonight, our campaign goes back into a fundraising freeze as the Legislature goes back into session.

Events of the last few days have made it clearer than ever that Rob’s opponents will do whatever they can to keep him from becoming our next Governor, including wasting taxpayer money to keep our campaign from raising money.

Just consider that Governor Christine Gregoire ordered a special session to start tomorrow – even though legislators have been told that there will be no hearings held until at least Wednesday, if even that soon.  So the taxpayers will be paying for a special session – and the legislators’ salaries – even though there is no work being done. San Juan County Republican Convention Schedule Saturday March 24th

San Juan County Republican Convention will begin 8:30 AM Saturday March 24th at the Grange on San Juan Island.

Delegates chosen and vetted will vote to elect State Convention Delegates for May 30,June 1,2 Convention in Tacoma. Platform is presently being developed from precinct caucus input. We will discuss and decide which platform statements to send to state.We should spend a few hours working toward these goals and then have lunch before heading for the ferry.Please call if I can answer any questions, Michelle Loftus 378-4738.

San Juan County Republican Caucus Straw Poll Results March 3, 2012

San Juan County Republicans turned out in great numbers today.Our Presidential Straw Poll Results:

Mitt Romney won with 62 votes

Ron Paul came in second with 56 votes

Rick Santorum was third with 52 votes

Newt Gingrich was fourth with 48 votes

Many undecided votes and a few write-ins
