Are you keeping score? House Republicans keep trying to pass funding for the needs the Dems have shut down. Senate Dems keep refusing these efforts and continue supporting the partial government shut down. There may be a temporary compromise tonight addressing the CR and the debt limit issues.

In the meantime many previous supporters of Obamacare are learning of its problems. Why didn’t they hear us screaming this for the past 4 years?

 

 

Keep watch of the events in Egypt, Syria and Iran. Obama hopes you aren’t looking.

LWV Forum Mon Oct 7th 5:30-7:30PM at Brickworks

The League of Women Voters of the San Juans is holding voter forums for the public.
The San Juan Island Forum will take place on Monday, October 7th from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Brickworks on Sunshine Alley.  Come and listen to the candidates and positions. Contested positions/seats are as follows:

In their negotiations both Republican and Democrats have refused to let go of their healthcare insurance subsidies.Democrats are holding onto the AHA exemptions for big business and special groups. What happened to that ” Help the 99%” cry? Call them and tell them they should have to live with the constraints of AHA like the rest of us or get rid of it:
