Susan Hutchison was elected as our new WSRP State Chair at our State Committee Meeting this weekend. Mrs. Hutchison is known for her philanthropic work locally and nationally. She is recognized as a past news anchor for KIRO Seattle. She desires to lead Washington State Republicans in repairing the problems Democrats have left in their wake all over our state.One of her first efforts will be supporting Washington Representative Jan Angel from Leg District 46 in her November election for Washington Senate.

Our Shooting Gallery was another huge success this year! Rene Polda acquired new high power Nerf Guns this year which the kids thought were way cool! If the shooter hit a target they were allowed to answer trivia questions for prizes. Frank Penwell’s Consignment Treasures’ donation of stuffed animals kept the kids and adults coming for more opportunities all day long.We had fun conversations about history, government and the constitution!
