Herb Meyer to Speak at Conservative Forum Wed Oct 16th 11AM at the Farmhouse Hwy 20

Image of Herbert E. Meyer The topic of Herb Meyer’s FORUM talk is termed:   “A Global Intelligence Briefing”.

HERB MEYER, was the author of the famous memo to President Reagan that put forth the thesis that the USA could spend the Soviet Union into bankruptcy.   He will be the speaker at the Conservative Values Forum on Wednesday, Oct 16th.   Herb worked for Bill Casey, Director of the CIA, and was an “out of the box” thinker.   He is a renowned international speaker.

Meyer was interviewed, this spring, by Rush Limbaugh about his current wide ranging topic:   the impact of freedom around the world, and how for the first time in history we will see the end of general poverty on the Earth.    That interview transcript, from the “Limbaugh Letter” is attached.

Herb’s comment when he and Rush are talking about America’s current troubles, gives you the flavor of his thinking:

“But when you look, not out the windshield, but at the radar screen, you can see further ahead.    Holy cow!    It’s a completely different world than anybody’s ever seen before.”

You will not want to miss this Forum.    Wednesday, October 16th, 11am, at the Farmhouse Restaurant on Highway 20.   Please RSVP Claire Eberle at 360-466-5527, or Claire@eberlecb.com.

Congressman Doc Hastings(R) Votes to Fully Defund Obamacare and Keep the Federal Government Open

From Doc Hastings newsletter:

The U.S. House of Representatives voted 230-189 on Friday to fully defund Obamacare, while funding the government through December 15, 2013. “Today, the House sent a clear signal to the American people: we will do everything we can to defund President Obama’s failed health care mandate and to keep the government running,” said Congressman Doc Hastings. “We must fund the federal government at responsible levels, continue to pay our dedicated servicemen and women, and ensure our seniors continue to receive their Social Security checks. Now the Senate must act to keep the government open and defund this unworkable health care law, which is costing American jobs and creating economic uncertainty

I also subscribe to our Congressional District 2 Congressman Larsen(D)’s newsletter but no mention of this vote was found there. I recommend subscribing to both to keep informed.

Local Senseless Attack by the dems

So I guess the local dems have nothing else better to do than to bully the San Juan Historical Museum. Really? How lame. Obviously no one is safe from the dems attempt to control EVERYTHING.Dem Chair Gresseth objected in an online about the SJCRP renting the museum for the AHA Forum since the museum receives lodging tax dollars. I suspect it was a lapse in memory that she couldn’t remember using the school for the dem convention. The museum and other non profits may rent their properties without an endorsement of the renting organizations. Actually they are not to be discriminatory. So go ahead dems and rent the museum. They could use the support in their fine work for our community.

Disclosure: My husband is the director of the museum.

Friend,
Governor Inslee has announced that he wants a special session in November to pass a new transportation package. For those of you keeping track, that would be the third special session this year! Our stance on the Democrats’ proposed 10+cents/gallon tax increase for transportation has remained consistent: without vital reforms to address the costs to the state for new projects, we must not continue to throw good money after bad. You can read more on the Republican transportation reform plan here.Senate Transportation Committee co-chairs Sen. Curtis King (R-Yakima) and Sen. Tracey Eide (D-Federal Way) will be hosting forums across the state beginning on September 17. Please attend the forum of your choice and speak out in support of reforms and fiscal responsibility.I encourage you to support our hard working Republican Legislators and thank them for their efforts to reform our state transportation system and save the taxpayers money while investing in needed infrastructure projects.

It’s Constitution Day! God Bless America!

From Facebook today:
Today we remember and honor the United States Constitution. God bless French political writer Charles Montesquieu for inspiring our Founding Fathers – James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, and John Jay – to create the system of governing philosophy for the longest existing constitutional Republic. However, let this day serve as a call to action for true American Patriots to protect and preserve our rule of law, our Constitution. Our legacy, our American exceptionalism is rooted in the immutable words of truth that begin, “We the People of the United States…” Read Dr. Larry Arnn’s book “The Founder’s Key” and Mark Levin’s “The Liberty Amendments” and join with me in the oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and bear true faith and allegiance to the same.”
